9 Ways to Skip the Checkout Line

When the military moved us from Japan back to the U.S. in 2020, my best friend raved to me about the perks of grocery delivery and suggested I might look into it. This might sound silly, but I had never heard of this and couldn’t believe such a thing even existed!

Back then we were a few months into the pandemic, and I was running my coaching business, trying to homeschool my oldest daughter, and oh yeah…tending to our 4-month old all day and night! Needless to say, being fortunate enough to take advantage of grocery delivery services was a game changer for our family. Fast forward to 2023, and I still use it at least once a week (sometimes more haha).

Nowadays, there is an amazing selection of apps and stores that can shop for you, and deliver everything directly to your doorstep. Keep in mind that most of these options do charge a one-time or per-trip fee and it’s customary to tip your shopper for a job well done. However, depending on the size of your order, the current season of life you’re in, and other constraints…grocery delivery might be a real lifesaver.

Below I have compiled list of 9 companies and stores that you can use for grocery delivery in the US. Some of them also offer pickup for no-fee. Check it out:
